Project 365 #80: 210311 Spot The Difference
If you know what you're looking at you'll spot the difference straight away!
Tina, my trusty coffee machine in work, has developed a bit of a continence problem. With a full tank she's taken to pissing out a bit of water overnight.
The culprit is this rubber seal. It sits underneath the water tank and forms the seal that prevents leakage. The one on the right is the old one. Its inner wall is flat, like a polo mint. The one on the left is the replacement - its walls are tapered so the hole at the bottom is smaller than the hole at the top.
I wasn't sure about getting hold of parts, but it turns out that the Spidem Trevi Chiara is a Saeco Vienna in drag so parts are easy to come by, and the beandoctor sorted me out a replacement for a fiver with postage.
Happy days.
