Project 365 #127: 070523 The Village People
Eurovision preparation is well underway in Liverpool and the City has proudly and fully commited to it.
This afternoon saw a kid's festival at the Eurovision fan village on the waterfront led by the BBC, and featuring 'Andy and the Band', of whom Robert, Dave and Carol are all big fans.
I offered to ride in the car with them in case they were unable to get parked easily and I'd drive the car home. As it goes parking in Mount Pleasant was no problem, and needing steps I walked down with them to go and see the Village, and as it was free entry I went in.
This stage is epic and the sound quality was absolutely superb. The screens are the most amazing outdoor screens I've seen, operating in clear visibility even in bright sunlight.
Here you can see a CBeebies animation teaching us some Ukrainian and welcoming people. The vibe down there was just beautiful, and even though I only stayed about twenty minutes as I have a timetable to write it was great to say I've been.
