Wrap Your Troubles in Dreams

"When skies are cloudy and gray

They're only gray for a day

So wrap your troubles in dreams

And dream your troubles away"

This popular song was written by Harry Barris and Ted Koehler in 1931 (another very hard time for our country) and originally recorded by Bing Crosby. Unfortunately, due to tech difficulties, I can't find a good link for you - aargh! Anyway, I thought that it was a good song to share on this unusual Thanksgiving which will be very low-key for me. and I suspect the same for many others this pandemic-ravaged year. Still, there is much to be thankful for - not the least that if we can just hold on, we will have a man of humility, compassion, and wisdom at the helm of our country who will truly put Americans first, not just his own insatiable ego.

Happy Thanksgiving to my Flickr friends!!!

I am so thankful for all your visits, support, encouragement, and kind words - may we all see better days ahead very soon!!
