life is a moving, breathing thing
"Life is a moving, breathing thing.
We have to be willing to constantly evolve.
Perfection is constant transformation."

"Even though you may want to move forward in your life,
you may have one foot on the brakes.
In order to be free, we must learn how to let go.
Release the hurt.
Release the fear.
Refuse to entertain your old pain.
The energy it takes to hang onto the past
is holding you back from a new life.
What is it you would let go of today?"

"Butterflies need to be free!"

Today was the day . . . My gorgeous Moany was very spirited this morning and definitely wanted *out* of his enclosure . . . I had hoped to save his *release* for my daughter and granddaughters, but their long car trip from Michigan would take up most of the day. I just couldn't hold onto him . . . he had heard about all of Angela's gorgeous females down on Long Island, and he was raring to go visit! Perhaps he will be instrumental in sending some offspring on the amazing journey to Mexico!
Ironically, I thought he would stay around our gardens, especially alighting on the new butterfly bush we had bought just for him, but he bypassed it (after he left this plant upon which I gently set him down) and immediately flew over our house, high in the sky, on his way to Long Island. I HOPE he didn't get caught in the rain they were having. It was only cloudy here.
Exactly one month ago I found Moany on the underside of a milkweed plant and brought him inside to begin the caterpillar nurturing process, a first for me! Please check out my Monarch album for Moany's incredible journey.

Watching Moany's phenomenal transformation was definitely life changing for me.
