And for dessert, the lemon sorbet! EXPLORED!

I have loved the images of these little hummingbirds, and this is one of my favorites. This view is so intimate, and this little female (I believe) looks like it has just found the sweetest of treats, pursed its lips and is sipping on the richest nectar. I know it is flying, and its wings are flapping at over 50 times a second, and this shot caught it with those wings forwards, but frozen in this moment, it seems to me like it is raising its wings in pure joy, or maybe it's in praise to its creator.

"Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of your wings." (Psalm 63).

So, please pardon me for waxing a little lyrical. Now it is time to take a little break from the hummingbirds. Thanks for enjoying them with me.

Oh, do I need to mention how this might look really great on a black background ( just hit "L")?
