2010/365 Feb 19 - Inukshuk

An Inuit inukshuk can be a symbol of many things. Direction, location of camps, good hunting and fishing are but a few things they can represent. This one was bought from a teenager from Kimmirut, Nunavut who had carved it himself. To me it's a symbol and reminder of my journey to the Artic.

@dailyshoot Symbols can be simple, ornate, plain, or colorful. Make a photo of a symbol that represents or stands for something else. #ds96
