Giant stag beetle - Lucanus elaphus
Sorry for the lack of posts. I finished adding my best stuff from 2011 and this is my first image from 2012, although it's completely out of order (just took this two days ago). I had to post an image though because this beetle was so awesome.
It may be a while before I post anything else because I'm going on vacation and then trying to finish sorting/editing all the images I've taken so far this year. It's been a great year so far and hopefully I'll be adding more beautiful arthropods to Flickr soon.
