The one that got away. I was at the Edinburgh Festival with the intention of getting some 100 Strangers portraits. I spotted Kaiya's (more on that later) striking features rising above the crowd as she handed out flyers. I took a flyer and asked if I could take her portrait. A few snaps later and I wandered off happy and in search of my next prey.
Wait a minute. Who was she? I'd completely forgotten to explain about the project, offer her my card etc. Oh well, it's been a while since I did a strangers portrait and I'm happy with the picture.
It did't take much googling from the URL on the flyer to find out this is Kaiya Stone, writer, performer and appearing in www.notyournicegirl.com
