6/100 - Pee Cee

I held onto this one for a bit longer than normal, as I hoped Pee Cee would get in touch with me, so that I could check the spelling of her name. Unfortunately I haven't heard anything from her, so I'll just stick with my phonetic spelling for the moment.

I met Pee Cee when I went for a walk on a snowy morning. I hadn't intended taking any stranger portraits but spotted her trying to take a photo of one of the bridges over the Clyde. She asked if I would take a photo of her with her camera. We had to move to the other side of the bridge to get a good shot as the sun was directly behind her original position. I asked if she would help me with my project and initially she refused, but once I had taken her photos she was quite obliging.

I've not had much chance to take stranger portraits since Laura, either due to the weather or work, so I was a bit rusty for this shoot. Other than the fact that Pee Cee is from Malaysia and speaks better English than I do :) I don't have a lot of details.

I've also decided not to be self critical in these comments as I know what I need to do better and hopefully you viewers won't notice :)

This picture is #6 in my 100 strangers project. Find out more about the project and see pictures taken by other photographers at the 100 Strangers Flickr Group page
