Violet Paradise
(30/52) Cure
I love the summer sun. There's a very short time of year when the sun shines into my room, meaning it has moved all the way to that position it only reaches in the high summer.
That realization carries a sense of peacefulness, absolute happiness, but also extreme pain over realizing that the shortness of this time is being lived right now, that soon it shall go the other way, not shining into my room anymore, paving more room for darker and shorter days; a realization that I am grateful for, and at the same time extremely upset about -
because it carries the question: why all this meaningless thought? The sun is shining on your skin right now, embracing you with its purest warmth - how can you allow anything else at all to matter?
