So tonight, I realised something.

It happened after I looked at a photograph that I actually "created", and that I am proud of.

It is not this one.

But I picked this one for a reason.

I picked it simply because I like it. And because when I started out with photography, I was mostly fascinated with black and white photography.

 

And tonight I realised that photography has become something huge for me.

Something so huge that only people who have also realised this can understand.

It's my safety line.

 

And many people have realised this before me.

Shae, for example, who has gone through a move to.

Or my dad, who gave me the camera we share because he "thought I needed it".

And I'm so glad.

I'm sosososo glad that I started photography. I don't know where I'd be without it.
