Coke! ..and a throwback!
I have a bunch of bottles of Coke, and a can of Pepsi Throwback from the USA (Pepsi with Sugar instead of High Fructose Corn Syrup)..
From left to right:
*Pepsi Throwback from the USA
*8 fl. oz (237ml) Glass bottle Coke from the United States. I want to say this.. American Coca Cola, maybe it's the high fructose corn syrup, but this glass bottle coke doesn't taste great. It lacks in sweetness, and all the flavour I can really taste is a hint of caramel/butterscotch. Doesn't have a nice refreshing zest when it touches the tongue. When tasting it, if I didn't know it was Coca Cola, I would assume it was just another generic cola beverage.
*250ml aluminum bottle from Canada. It was "custom made" just for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.. set me back about $2. It feels like there's nothing in there. But neat design.
*237ml glass bottle Coke from Canada. It's always a real treat to have this, a nice sweet flavour to it, it reminds me of my childhood, you can smell the "Coca Cola" aroma the second you open this small bottle. I wish they sold the bottles in 250ml like the aluminum bottle though, also I wish they sold it in more locations!
*237ml glass bottle Coke from Mexico. I picked this up quite a while ago and still haven't opened it. The bottle is slightly shorter than the Canadian/American glass bottle design, and instead of having a painted label, it's embossed into the bottle. It's delicious though!
The American Coca Cola is gross, while the Canadian and Meixcan glass Coca Colas are real treats to have! Also, I wish the US had Pepsi Throwback more often than as sugar beats nasty High Fructose Corn Syrup!
