'Life Happen' Event at COD Teaches Students Fiscal Responsibility 20
More than 200 students participated in a recent “Life Happens!” event hosted by the College of DuPage Office of Student Financial Assistance that focused on fiscal responsibility. This interactive program, similar to the famous board game, helped students negotiate the ups and downs and realities of life as they visited different stations that took them through career, family and lifestyle choices. The inaugural event is part of a COD Financial Literacy program that helps students become financially savvy and better understand budgeting, savings, credit, credit scores and debt.
