Subadult Long-tailed Jaeger (Stercorarius longicaudus) at Wisconsin Point, Douglas County, Wisconsin, 19 October 2010. Sixth consecutive day at this inland location at the western tip of Lake Superior. Pomarine (S. pomarinus) and Parasitic Jaegers (S. parasiticus) were present for direct comparison on the 15th, 16th, and 18th. Note bill size and shape, wing shape, lack of breast band, and length of tail.
