Sheriff Joe Arpaio: Money Shot
"Chinga La Migra", courtesy LulzSec, in the news right now but in Arizona? Not so much. If I hadn't been a boing boing reader I would not have learned so much about the hacktivist attack on the Arizona Department of Public Safety. The torrent downloads exposed much material that many many law enforcement people would not want "published". I read a long story with a great deal of detail on the more interesting content through boing boing here
Despite a paucity of media reports within Arizona, this was online tonight and I laughed to learn Sheriff Joe actually has a twitter account! Here is an excerpt of his tweet and link to the story in the Phoenix New Times.
"The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said it was not aware of the cyber attack until LulzSec tweeted Sheriff Joe Arpaio's Twitter account.
"The media has been giving me a lot of heat lately but nothing compared to tent city!" Arpaio tweeted Thursday. LulzSec responded, "Media? Heat? You? Chinga La Migra!"

This mural was painted on a fence and garage door in the alley off Roosevelt Street in the Arts District. There is a caricature next to Joe's of Jan Brewer. When I get around to it I will post more of these shots.
