Semi-Spiritual, The Blues - A blue view, this section of a small tiled dome is purely a decorative structure along Lakeside Boulevard in San Diego across from the airport on the Sheraton side. Shot is bright sun, the challenge to capture the different values and tones of these pretty tiles was my quest. For those who know me well, cobalt blue is MY color and for me this one color is very spiritual. To spot the few bits of real cobalt blue color in this mosaic, look for the medium-sized circles surrounding the three star mandala patterns.
