XSS-78E2
Experimental second-generation light GPMG. Chambered in 7.62x51 NATO, this South African machine gun prototype was
commissioned in the late Cold War era. It was decently successful and troops issued seemed to have no quarrels with the piece. Now outdated, the weapon is owned by a few collectors, African pirates, and other insurgencies.
Heavily inspired by the SS-77, with a bit of M60 and FAL mixed in.
