Anting - 1935 Citroën Traction Avant
Even if the Citroën Traction Avant put the front wheel drive (FWD) into the name, FWD was nothing new in 1934, the year of its introduction.
But it also featured several other real innovations, such as being the first mass-produced car with unibody construction, independently sprung front wheels and a rack and pinion steering (the latter appearing on US made cars only 30 years later, with the 1974 Ford Pinto).
Found in the Shanghai Auto Museum.
