Munich - "Millipede" in Action

Oversize load transport negotiating the intersection of Ingolstädter Straße and Heidemannstraße in the north of Munich.

 

This is the special transport vehicle as shown the previous upload - the person giving instructions provides a sense of scale.

 

To enable the vehicle to pass, several traffic lights had to be removed and the traffic islands received special protection to withstand the load.
