The China Maritime Safety Administration (Chinese: 中国海事局) is a government agency in charge of the supervision of the safety in the waterways, prevention of pollution, and of the navigation safety.

 

Please note that China MSA can not be directly compared to any other "Coast Guard" - because as of 2010 China did not even have a single authority that would fit the title of a "Coast Guard" - the "China Coast Guard" was only established in 2013. The China MSA remains as a separate, independent authority.
