Zhuhai - Hong Kong ferry "Hai Chi"

Hai Chi (海弛), leaving Jiuzhou port (九洲港) bound for Hong Kong.

She is the most comfortable of the ships serving the Zhuhai - Hong Kong route, together with a similar vessel, the Hai Kun. Hai Chi and Hai Kun are also the (by apperance) largest vessels in the fleet and the fastest as well.

Built by Austal Shipbuilders in Australia, hull No.121.

Some data for 海弛 Hai Chi:

338 passengers

Length 40m

Beam 11.5m

2 x MTU 16V 396TE 74L diesels, 1,980 kW each, 34.5kts speed.

The logo on the starboard side between the two passenger decks is based on the Chinese character 九 (jiu) and stands for "Jiuzhou Port Passenger Transportation Co."
