Revisited: Nymphenburg Palace as seen from the east. Schloss Nymphenburg is a palace located in the west of Munich and one of the main tourist attractions of the city, with yearly over 300,000 visitors,

 

The palace is the main summer residence of the House of Wittelsbach, former rulers of Bavaria.

 

Commisioned in 1664, the central building in the style of an Italian Villa was completed in 1675 Gradually the sides were added and the current appearance was reached in 1716.
