Day Two Hundred and Eighty-Seven: 365 Days
This is what I spend most of my time doing these days since I'm studying for my comps this summer. Today I went for a nice bike ride this morning but then spent all afternoon in bed reading. Today I read a couple of short stories by Nathaniel Hawthorne, followed by Edward S. Ellis's The Huge Hunter, or the Steam Man of the Prairies and Edward Bellamy's Looking Backward (pictured here). I don't particularly recommend either of them, unless you have a strong interest in either 19th century adventure novels with a tinge of science fiction or 19th century socialist utopias. Their literary merits are far less than their historical merits.
