Staff no more!
With the removal of the Miniature Electric staff between Cootamundra West and Stockinbingal, on the cross country line between Cootamundra and Parkes, in the Riverina area of New South Wales, last weekend I thought I would post a few shots from a few weeks before the Staff Instruments were removed.
This is the instrument in the staff hut at Cootamundra West with a mix of Brass and metal pegs.
Safeworking wise now the section will be replaced by Rail Vehicle Detection System (RVD) and controlled from Junee Control.
