2nd Lightning Strike of the season
This isolated storm produced several discharges per minute and persisted for several hours as it rapidly moved east into Nebraska. The thunderhead at left appeared to be rotating in time lapse as the right slide of this large cell began to glaciate into ice crystals. Note the difference in cloud form.
Lightning was 15 miles away. Noted the anvil crawler (horizontal under the anvil) and cloud to ground strike.
