20091212 - 1 - RAM failure - GEDC1106

Just to add insult to injury:

 

* Not only did my car get totaled this week

* Not only did my largest and newest harddrive (1500G) crash.

 

But now half my computer's RAM (2G out of 4G) is destroyed.

 

My computer was open while I was messing with the crashed harddrive. I then noticed my RAM looked like this. What happened?!?! It's as if the cooling apparatus failed, and the glue that held the board in the casing melted.

 

I tried to insert the ram back into the cooling apparatus, but it just wouldn't go.

 

 

 

Now for the RMA. Siiighhh.
