Look how huge this card is!
My video card is pretty kickass, and has no problem or lag rendering three 60Hz 1080p screens simultaneously (plus a 4th VGA monitor)...But I still wish I had bought one model up, becuase "Radeon R9 270" is not Oculus Rift ready (Radeon R9 290 is). Still a dcent card, though after 20yrs of being an ATI customer, I think I am going to go Nvidia next time. It is: A HIS iPower IceQ X2 Boost H270QM2G2M Radeon R9 270 2GB. It was $151.98 from NewEgg. Other specs: 256-Bit DDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP CrossFireX. / Core Clock: 900MHz / Boost Clock: 925MHz / Connectors: 1xHDMI, 2xMini DisplayPort, 1xDVI-I / DirectX: 11.2 / Slot Width: Dual Slot / Dual-Link D.I. Yes / Dimensions: 8.8"x4.96" / Warranty period: 2 years.

BACKSTORY: Building my new computer! We decided to name it Thailog. Thailog ("Goliath" spelled backwards) is the evil twin of Goliath from the cartoon Gargoyles. Carolyn's computer is named after Goliath, so it just makes sense that Clint's computer is the evil twin of Carolyn's computer. A quick summary of the computer's specs is: Intel Core i7-5820K Haswell-E 6-Core 3.3GHz with an Arctic Freezer I30 cooler on a ASRock X99 WS EATX motherboard with 24G of Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR4 2400mHz RAM, a Radeon R9 270 video card, and a Crucial M500 240GB M.2 SSD...all inside a massive NZXT Phantom 820 case. It was a $1560 build, summarized on my blog at clintjcl.wordpress.com/2015/03/06/journal-hardware-purcha...
