20070325-26 - Catcha the raccoon - 116-1632 - the raccoon in the attic

That was fast. Less than 2 hours after setting the trap, the raccoon was caught. He devoured the cat food, and pulled as much bubble-wrap (which was laying around the attic) into his cage as possible -- I assume for insulation (they also utilize fiberglass insulation). A couple months later, we caught another...

 

This is the 2nd room of our 1st attic. Floorboards started with replacement mattress slats for a shitty Ikea bed that fell apart, and ended with leftover boards from our addition. Several of the numbered cardboard boxes had to be decomissioned due to raccoon damage, the contents re-assimilated or re-catalogged to a new box. I just hosed off new plastic bins to go up there.
