Lacie and I first met at Animal Services. She was a thin, frightened little girl who somehow found herself lost and alone. I was the volunteer photographer hoping to get a good photo to help her get adopted. It was not my intention to adopt a dog that day but Lacie had other plans. She quickly won over my heart and has been by my side ever since. She was thought to be about 4 years old at that time. This year she will turn 9.
