Assignment: Like Night & Day (Diptych)

Your assignment is to take a photo of something (or someone) during the day, and then take a photo of that something or someone at night. (Both photos must be taken in the same location.) Then, bring both of the photos together to present an interesting diptych. There are many ways to do this, as seen below.

Restriction: No more than two photos in your final image, and the photos must be taken of the same thing(s) in the same location or of the same person in that location. Doesn’t have to be the same exact spot, but please give us a sense that you are showing us both the day and night side of something similar. If it’s a person, he/she doesn’t have to pose the same.

Also, you may not make one or both of the photos "look" like a night or day photo with photoshop; one must be taken during the day and one at night.

Dare: There are so many ways to be creative here. So I dare you to be creative!

WIT: Shot through our beveled window in our front door. Both at f/8.0, ISO 400. Day shot at 1/60 sec, Night shot at 20 sec. CS4 curves, crop, sharpen (to show the smudges). Placed both in layers, selected and erased. Cropped, resized.. added a bit of vibrance. (Cliff wants you to know it is not her job to clean the window).
