Egyptian Atomic Furnace

Discovered by Dr. G. Ferdie Buckman in 1843 in an Egyptian tomb dating to the third dynasty, this artifact was originally thought to be a ceremonial bath chamber. In 1937 Reginald Denny, BCE, discovered the true nature of the device. The British government immediately siezed the unit and all Denny's research notes. In June of 1942 the furnace was carried to America by the cruiser HMS Defiant. Rutherford has written f the device advanced the Manhattan Project by one to two years (Nuclear Power in Antiquity, Vol II, Hennessy, 1988).
