Some information and facts on Petronas Towers.

Located in the golden triangle of Kuala Lumpa Malaysia theTwin Towers are 451.9 meters tall with an internal volume of 395,00 cubic meters and have the deepest foundations in the world at 120 meters.

 

Constructed using super high-strength reinforced concrete with 32,000 windows covering over 77,000 square meters, cleaning the windows is a daily routine using eleven gondolas and it takes them five months to complete the work.

 

Designed by Argentine architects and completed in seven years it's created 560,000 square meters of column-free office space. To reflect the Muslim religion of Malaysia the steel and glass facade was designed to echo styles found in Islamic art.

 

Petronas Twin Towers Pinnacles and Spires are an integral part of the design of the buildings and are not antenna as can be seen.in this stock photo. The main functionality is for aircraft as warning lights and storing the window cleaning gondolas.

At 73.5 meters high and 176 ton in weight they are impressive in there own right. The ring ball consists of 14 concentric tubes with various diameters and the spire ball has ten sections. The surface is cladded with brushed stainless steel using the hairline brush technique to give it that reflective shine. Its no accident that In certain lights it looks made of glass.
