Full moon last night 20130125

All were made on a tripod, manual settings at f/11, 1/125, ISO 200, IBIS = off and 12 second delay. I used RogueMD's as a guideline.

I got the chance to compare my all metal legacy Nikkor glass with my all plastic and cheap Panasonic zoom. Not the best conditions. Cold and bit windy and there were clouds again :( I had to wait and be patient. All shots were kind of lucky because there were times were the cloud cover was very thin and the light reflected off the moon penetrated well. I must say the light when I was using the Panasonic was better. You can see the ones taken using the Nikkor is a tad darker. I'm guessing that's mainly due to some clouds.

Anyway, which one do you think is the better lens. Is it obvious?

By the way, thanks for having fun yesterday and letting me know of the groups. Those groups (or non-groups) are just some of what I know. There are plenty more and there some with daily challenges. I must say I don't always participate on those. I do if I can but I don't follow it consistently or religiously. Must also say my favourite of all time is HBW because I love bokeh. A close 2nd is Fence Fridays and 3rd is a tie between Monochrome Monday and Macro Monday.

Today is Saturday so HCS my friends! Moon photos are cliche, right! Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
