chainsaw art in Bandon, Oregon
Following the recent global cyberattack, I couldn't work for a week while new software measures were being installed and tested. During that week, I shot my first two black&white films with the Rolleiflex.
I love how this camera slows me WAY down! I knew I wanted to take one picture at this chainsaw artist's place. There are at least 100 pieces on display and I spent 10-20 minutes carefully looking for that one vision I wanted to capture and then spent long minutes composing and focusing before I finally pressed the shutter. It is so satisfying to work this way!
