The Village of Thornefeld: A Collaborative Project
The Village of Thornefeld is a collaboration between Timothy Shortell (Classical Bricks), Cole Blood (Hildigrim Took), Jake Hansen (Mountain Hobbit), Grant Davis, Eli Wilsea (ForlornEmpire), and James Libby (Legomania) displayed at Bricks Cascade 2020.
The collaboration spans a total of nine 48x48 baseplates (3x3). I built the 2 front baseplates along the far left edge of the village, with the waterfall and dock. Eli built the baseplates behind mine, Grant built the plates to the right of mine, Cole built the two front baseplates along the right side, and Jake built the baseplate in the back right corner. James helped out with various details at the convention, including minifigures, food items, and other things that really brought the village to life. We're really happy with how this turned out and hope you all enjoy it! You can find the rest of the pictures in the following gallery: flic.kr/y/3yptunf and on the other builders' photostreams (they are all tagged).
