Classical Bricks
Mount Kharniath: A Collaborative Project
Mount Kharniath is collaboration with Cole Blood and
Jake Hansen that we brought together and displayed at Bricks Cascade 2018!
The base is a total of nine 48x48 baseplates and it stands at about 3 feet tall. I built the back 6 baseplates and the first layer of rocks. Since I didn\'t quite finish my section before the convention, we had to speed-build the top of my landscape and some of the walls and market stalls during setup days at the con. However, we got everything finished in time for the public exhibition and it looked fantastic! I also built the small windmill on the island, which is powered by a train battery box and small motor, and actually spins. Cole built the middle layer of island with the tower and the balcony, as well as the baseplate of water and landscape in the front right corner and the bridge. Jake built the top of the island with the castle and the 2 remaining baseplates of water and landscape. Considering we had so much work to do at the con, this build turned out much better than I thought it would. We ended up winning an award for best fortification, and we won best in show! It was as blast hanging out with these guys over the weekend and hopefully you can see more collabs from us in the future!
