Pink Hadoop At Crossroads
Once I saw it, a name popped up in my mind, as around that time there's was a lot of buzz about 'Edward Snowden', a 'notorious NSA leaker', and the 'big data monitoring' juggernaut projects the secretive U.S. government's office has been allegedly pulling out for years..
'Hadoop' is an 'open-source software framework' that supports data-intensiveM/b> distributed applications. Ironically, NSA uses some derivatives of this framework too.
""Hadoop was created by Doug Cutting and Mike Cafarella in 2005. Cutting, who was working at Yahoo! at the time, named it after his son's toy elephant"" :)
Although, this 'little fellow' looks so cute, so innocent :)
