Charlotte Panorama from Bentleys
Our group had the pleasure of being taken out to dinner at Bentley's, a restaurant on the top floor (27th?) of Charlotte Plaza. This was stitched from 18 photos taken with my Olympus P&S from one of the windows. I decided to not true up the edges since the image is quite dynamic and exciting. I did the minimum amount of post processing possible.
From left to right are Wachovia 2, BB&T in front, Bank of America/Omni hotel (black buildings), and Bank of America tower. At the bottom of the photo is College Street. Charlotte-Douglas airport is on the horizon in the middle of the image, more or less.
You will see the reflection of my red tie in the window superimposed on the BB&T building! Sometimes photographic opportunities are planned and other times, like this one, they just happen and you have to take what you can get.
