Shinto Temple on Lake Ashi #5

My wife and I went on a cruise around Japan this year. This is one of the photos captured while on the cruise. The day was rainy at Hakone (in fact raindrops are visible in this shot). This stone lantern is at the roadside entrance to the main shrine. The mossy feel backed by the mistiness of the day adds a sense of seriousness to the image.
