NMBS TRAXX engines at TWA, Antwerpen, September 10, 2023
All 24 Benelux TRAXX engines are getting a new software version (9.4.3). NMBS 2802 and 2808 were the second set to get this software. Engines with the new software are only allowed to run together with another "new" engine. That's why the NMBS TRAXX engines have gotten a blue striping on the body and a text on the door (the NS engines will only get the number of the software version on the door).
On Sunday, September 10, 2023, the 2802 and 2808 were lined up with three other TRAXX engines at the Tractie Werkplaats Antwerpen (Antwerp, Belgium): Lineas 186-445, DB Cargo 186-333-1 and Lineas 186-454. The 454 has a new promotional scheme to attract new employees.
