Monk!
This is my boy Monk. I've never had a real pet until Monk came along. First, my then girlfriend (now 'wife) took in a stray cat who turned out to be pregnant. Monk was the first one out as I witnessed the birthing process. Nearly two years on, and I can't imagine life without the little guy. And damn it, if he doesn't have the softest fur!
