Faux Album Cover meme
1 - Go to Wikipedia. Hit “random... Read More... Read More” or click en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.
My band name was Still Kilrain... cool huh...??
2 - Go to "Random quotations"or click www.quotationspage.com/random.php3 The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.
oh what a perfect album title is the ending of the quote by Meredith Willson, from The Music Man, "the pleasures and excitement of today"...!!
3 - Go to flickr and click on “explore the last seven days” or click www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days The third picture, no matter what it is (it must however be licensed by Creative Commons for derivative works), will be your album cover.
those instructions did not work for me... after 7 pages of interestingness there was not a single photo under Creative Commons for derivative works... so I advance searched flickr for "square" and "explore", limited to "Only search within Creative Commons-licensed content" and "Find content to modify, adapt, or build upon" then sorted by most recent... I know... anal of me but this is serious business using and modifying someone's photography... thanks aha42/Arne Halvorsen for licensing Sun Reflection On The Old Stock Exchange under Creative Commons Noncommercial Some rights reserved www.flickr.com/photos/arne-halvorsen/3288211052/
4 - Use Photoshop, Picnik or similar to put it all together.
what a great fun way to occupy my evening... lol
