Springfield South High School
A nice side view of South High School on Limestone Street in Springfield. They have made the decision to merge North High and South High together - next year I think. No one is quite sure how it will work...or if it will. The thought of this grand old building being vacant, going to pieces, being torn apart by vandals....such a shame. There is talk about someone buying it...but then, there always is. My husband went to school here. The dome, now painted white, is made of stained glass. He used to have classes up there, under the dome.
