Rock Island Railroad GP7 1254 at Lincoln, Nebraska on an unknown day in October 1963, Kodachrome by Dick Rumbolz, Chuck Zeiler collection. Built in July 1952 ( c/n 16463 ) on EMD Order 5136, it was rebuilt to GP7R 4526 and during 1981 it became C&NW 4180. Even at this date it appears to have seen some minor rebuilding. The fuel tank appears to be a non-standard shape.
