Yes, of course I am posting way far too many images of the same things. Conditions changed throughout the day and I liked difference scenes for different reasons. To me this is fun. And there's so little fun to be had in life.

 

Trying to learn how to generate in-camera jpgs that appeal to me.

 

Trying to avoid image processing on the Big Computer, if possible.

 

Trying to "get it right in-camera."

 

Other than downsizing, these images are, for better or worse, straight out of the camera.

 

What's missing? Vignetting. I'll go back and check the camera settings to make sure that correction is turned off. A proper image is lightly vignetted so as to draw the eye to the subject.

 

At the base I'm thrilled to have a full "mini-lab" in the form of a camera. I've come to appreciate just how much effort Sony has put into their in-camera jpg engine. The colors are fabulous to me.

 

I used the very simple in-camera color-grading recipe. It's Sony "Deep" Creative Style with Contrast set to -1. Easy peasy.
