NGC2244 - The Skull

Here we go! After what seemed like a never ending stretch of cloudy nights, I finally had an opportunity to take my telescope out for a few hours. I'm very happy with this result in just over two hours of exposure time. After a few month with a defective DEC motor, I was finally able to fix my mount. This is NGC2244, officially known as the Rosette nebula. If you ask me, it should be named the Skull Nebula. Once you see it, you can't unsee it...
