Chris Sweetman says: Both of these toy cars are contemporaries from the 1960's. They even choose the same colour for their models of a Jaguar Mark X. Corgi did issue their's in a number of other colours though. It is interesting to see how each manufacturer conveys the details. For the lights Corgi selected "jewel's" and Dinky just highlighted them in silver. The Corgi also features opening bonnet revealing engine detail and opening boot. Dinky just had the opening boot feature. Both supplied two items of luggage to load into the boot!
