"Break Free"
This location is one of the most popular photo spots in Seattle, and therefore it is very difficult to not have your vision overly influenced by work of others. I intent to not recreate what most other photographers had already done and to capture an image that is unique to what I saw and how i felt.
I believe that a good photographer should not find him or herself restrained in any way by photography rules, people's opinion, or the gears they have. "the best camera you have is the one with you. " Whether it's about taking pictures with your phone or breaking the compositional rule, we all need to find that opening through the fence to reach the other side. Hence, break free!
