Gorgeous Northern Morning
I decided to revisit one of the photographs from my fall drive from Whitehorse in Yukon to Summerside on Prince Edward Island. This particular area has to be one of the most beautiful of the entire trip. I've driven this area many times over the years and it never fails to impress. Here is what I wrote on the initial image posted back in October:
This photo was taken in the area of Toad River on the Alaska Highway. It is a region that, in my opinion, is home to some of the most beautiful countryside anywhere. I think if I was looking for my own personal shangri-la, outside of Atlin that is, it could easily be somewhere around Toad River. This photo was taken early in the morning of October 1st, 2023 during our trip out of the Yukon.
When i went back and looked at the photo, I had posted, I realized that I could have processed it much better than I had. This version much more acurately captures the beauty I witnessed on that morning.
