Coming up to the Pyramids

Pyramids at Meroe. I was told that an Italian explorer was looking for treasure and lopped off the tops of the pyramids. Unfortunately, he found it in the first pyramid and continued destroying the tops of the other pyramids in his search. Hence all these funny looking pyramids with the tops cut off.
